![]() What’s needed is left analog for movement and raw mouse input for camera.Like. None of the 3 input styles present in the customizer support this combination. The reason I was trying the input customizer in the first place was that I wanted to try playing this with gamepad/mouse. Other than that it was a smooth experience.I have a suggestion. I have right click bound to the non-standard binding Roll/Jump Only and it will miss the input entirely once in a while. It works really well and almost feels like an official input patch. I just tested this out in Mouse/Keyboard mode and made it past Orstein and Smough in one sitting. Although this can in part also be achieved with existing tools, DSIC is much more flexible and wraps it all up in an easy to use package, along with additional functionality that is specially tailored to Dark Souls.DSIC also fully includes the Dark Souls Mouse Fix, which does not have to be installed separately. It uses a flexible input system that allows the rebinding of every action to arbitrary combinations of keys or buttons on the controller, the mouse or the keyboard. Overview DescriptionThe Dark Souls Input Customizer (DSIC) offers full customization of the controls of Dark Souls. In addition to a complete fix of the mouse controls, the mod also provides advanced options, such as separate sensitivities for bow aiming or the usage of of non-standard actions like Kick, the creation of input profiles, as well as dedicated support for the Steam Controller. You can download the mod from PC Gaming Wiki, from Nexusmods or from ModDB. What is this?Have you ever wanted to open the gesture menu by Left Trigger + Spacebar + Mouse Wheel Down? The Dark Souls Input Customizer is the successor to the Dark Souls Mouse Fix and allows you to bind any action to arbitrary combinations of keys or buttons on the controller, the mouse or the keyboard via a simple GUI. It's unbearable without the fix, it's like the camera can move only in one cardinal direction at any time. I think it is possible to set up double clicks for attacks though using some third party tools, like autohotkey, if you really need them, but I'm not 100% sure.Edit: and the main reason to install DSMfix is to fix mouse movement. I personally think, that's better than double clicks, which are a horrible idea. Left mouse button is r1, right mouse button - r2, shift - l1 (block), tab - l2 (parry). It uses other control scheme than DS2, a better one imo. raymondhill'sRelated SubredditsTrophy Requests. Dark Souls 3 Mouse And Keyboard Vs Controller Guides and the series at andFilters.Player Tips. Trust me I've played with both for hours and both work FINE! There are some fixes for mouse and keyboard but i woudnt recommend it gamepad acts far more better, while with Dark Souls 2 its completely different story. My only problem with the DEFAULT M/K controls is the mouse acceleration issues, get the dark souls mouse fix which FIXES that problem and the M/K controls are every bit as good as the gamepad.
